SALSA NIGHT - 29th September

An fun evening with something for everyone, whatever their experience of salsa dancing - a chance to find out what Salsa is all about, to practise what you know or show off to your friends.  Carlos and Clare will show you how it’s done and help you to do it too. The evening in the Community Centre, Beechmont Avenue starts at 7.30pm and includes a Mexican-style hot meal (optional).  Tickets are limited to allow space for all the dancers but you can book your place by calling 01344 845934 or e-mailing Salsa@vwca.org.uk. £10.50 for VWCA members, £12.00 for non-members with a meal; £5 or £6 without a meal.

MURDER MYSTERY - 10th November

The latest collaboration between Staines Players and the Community Association will see murder most foul in the Community Centre but we have confidence that the audience will spot the culprit and bring him, her or them to book.  This is one of the most popular events in our social calendar so you are recommended to book early.  Tickets costing £10.50 for VWCA members or £12.00 for non-members include a hot supper and can be secured by contacting 01344 430225 or Murdermystery@vwca.org.uk.

 ANNUAL REPORT

The Annual General Meeting of the Virginia Water Community Association held on 30th November 2011 was attended by 26 members who received reports from the Association, its sub-committees and sections and some of the regular users of the Community Centre in Beechmont Avenue.  The Association reported a surplus of income over expenditure in relation to management of the Centre, for the first time in 3 years, with further income from social and fund-raising activities.
