To make a booking, follow these 6 Easy Steps:
PLEASE NOTE: All items marked with * are required! All bookings made online that do not comply with the Hire Terms will be rejected. There are also some Frequently Asked Questions listed at the bottom of this page.

Step 3: (Required) *
The Hirer and User Instruction Guide provides details of your responsibilities when hiring the Community Centre hall and/or meeting room. There are requirements that must be met before a booking can be confirmed.

Step 4: (Required) *
A Booking Agreement form must be completed by the hirer and submitted to the Centre Manager before a booking will become confirmed.
Download, Print, Complete and Send the form to the Centre Manager once you have entered your Hallmaster booking (Step 6, below).
Step 5: (Required) *
Failure to provide your own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) could result in your booking request being denied. This step is a quick and easy check to see if you need your own PLI or can use the VWCA's PLI cover.

Step 6: (Required) *
This step will take you to the Hallmaster Booking system. A video has been created showing how to complete your booking using this online system. We strongly recommend that you watch the video before attempting to make your booking.
Please Note: Minimum booking time of 4 hours required on Saturdays and Sundays.

IMPORTANT: After making a booking using the Hallmaster system, you should automatically receive emails to the email address you gave when registering.
If you do not see emails appearing in your Inbox, please check your email's Spam folder (just in case!).
FAQs
1. Do you have WIFI?
Yes, the password is on the notice board in the entrance foyer and in the main hall.
2. Do you have a kettle?
No, but we do have a water boiler/electric urn that has constant boiling water.
3. Can we use the kitchen?
Yes, we have a fully working kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, also some crockery and cutlery.
4. How can I play music through the speakers?
We have a Bluetooth receiver that can be connected through your smartphone, tablet, or your laptop.
5. How many tables and chairs are there for use?
The seating maximum is 95.
You can get 14 tables maximum (depending on layout) for display purposes (ie. Village Show). Typically, when seating at tables is required, there is a limit of 12 tables max, with 6-8 chairs per table (max) due to restrictions regarding how much space there should be between tables for Health & Safety reasons.
6. Can we hire a bouncy castle?
Yes, the local bouncy hire companies know our hall and know which ones fit, we do have an overhead projector that some of the very tall ones don’t fit under, but most do, we need to know if you are hiring a bouncy castle, so that we can inform our insurance company.
7. Can we cook on a BBQ outside?
No, our insurance doesn’t cover any use of any BBQ’s, fire pits, or any naked flame anywhere on the property.
8. Do you have an outside area?
Yes, we have a covered decking area and a lawned area that you can use during your booking times.
9. How do I gain access to the hall for my booking?
The Centre Manager will be at the hall at the time of your booking to unlock and show you all that you need for your event.
10. Is there parking at the Community Centre?
We do have our own car park area by the oak tree to the left of the hall as you are looking at it, also there is public parking by the field opposite.
11. When I book, do I get some setup time as well?
You should book the hall for the entire time that you require. So, If you need any setup time, this should be included in the hours that you book for your event.
