The Virginia Water Community Association
Virginia Water Community Association (VWCA) is run by local volunteers who manage a modern Community Centre in the heart of Virginia Water that supports various groups who provide services to their neighbourhood.
The Community Centre is located on Beechmont Avenue, in Virginia Water, and is available for hire. The Centre was built in 1994, financed by local support and fund-raising with assistance from Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey County Council, to replace the original Centre built in 1950.
The Virginia Water Community Association is a registered charity (registered number 274809) set up in 1947 for the purpose of "providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of Virginia Water and the neighbourhood".
The Centre is available for hire to groups or individuals, whether or not members of VWCA. VWCA social events are also open to anyone. Members of the VWCA are eligible for reduced hire and admission rates.
The Executive Committee administers the Community Centre in Beechmont Avenue including lettings and upkeep.

Village Show
The Village Show is held in the Community Centre on the second Sunday in September.
Whilst the Village Show is not a VWCA-managed operation, we fully support this event and hope that Virginia Water residents wish to take part and display their endeavours.
The show allows local residents to exhibit Horticultural, Handicraft, Cookery and Home-made Wine. For further details and to exhibit in the show, please email the Village Show organiser.
