Annual General Meeting
10th January, 2022
The Annual General Meeting for year 2021/2022 was held on Monday, January 10th, 2022, at the Community Centre on Beechmont Avenue.
Five people were re-elected to the Committee, including the current Treasurer and Secretary.
The committee are:
- Fran Pollard (Treasurer)
- Jeff Turner (Secretary)
- Claire Springall (Membership Secretary)
- Joan Hodgson
- Pamela Humphreys
We are still looking for someone who would be willing to become the Chair of the committee as well as additional members to assist with the committee's duties.
Fortunately, the activities through 2021 and the start of 2022 produced a small profit, showing that we have managed to keep our accounts in the black through a very difficult period of time.
More changes are planned for the Community Centre gardens, with a view to being able to host more outdoor activities in the warmer (and hopefully drier) months.
We are also moving to a cloud-based management software, called Hallmaster, to manage the hiring events, invoicing and general communication with hirers. This is a big step forward and is now up and running.
